SHAHID LAW FIRM LAUNCHES SUDAN PRACTICE

Shahid Law Firm (the “Firm”) is delighted to announce its expansion into the Sudanese market through its association with Advocate Yousra Y. M. Elhassan Badi’s office (the “Association”). The Association will be based in Khartoum and will provide full-service legal assistance to existing and future clients.

The launch of the Association comes immediately following the lifting of US sanctions against Sudan. “We take pride in our Firm, a leader in the Egyptian market, and are looking to expand our regional presence, and Sudan is a natural choice.  We couldn’t find a better partner than Yousra who is a seasoned advocate and trademark agent with an impressive track record and years of legal experience working with international companies in Sudan and overseas”, said Girgis Abd El-Shahid, the Firm’s Managing Partner.

Our goal is to provide the best service to our clients who, like us, see an opportunity for growth with the changing economic and political landscape in Sudan. This is a step that should have been taken a long time ago; but the lifting of sanctions was the catalyst that made things happen”, added Tarek Badawy, who will serve as the Association’s Managing Partner.

The Association will begin its operations on 1 February 2021. For more information, please contact tarek.badawy@shahidlaw.com.
