Shahid Law Firm acted for leading European banks and export credit agencies in the USD 130 Million cross-border refinancing of the purchase of three (3) Airbus 320neo aircraft ultimately operated by Egypt’s national carrier. The transaction was the first of its kind in the Egyptian aviation market given its complex structure, as it involved the sale, leasing, subleasing of these aircraft across multiple layers of special purpose vehicles around the world, with their ultimate registration, mortgaging, and operation in Egypt.
