Farah is a junior associate in the Corporate and M&A team, with experience assisting on a range of mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, and advisory matters in Egypt.
Her practice focuses on transactional work, including M&A, joint ventures, and corporate structuring. She regularly supports due diligence exercises, drafting and reviewing transaction documentation, and assisting with deal execution. She also advises on general corporate matters, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and shareholder arrangements.
- Representation of investors and corporations in connection with mergers and acquisitions across a range of sectors, including F&B, manufacturing, poultry, non-banking financial services, education, technology, and tourism, including conducting legal due diligence and assisting in the drafting and negotiation of transaction documentation.
- Representation of developers and private sector partners in connection with the development of a mixed-use commercial project in Egypt.
- Representation of companies in disputes arising out of administrative contracts.
- Representation of foreign investors in establishing operations in Egypt under the industrial developer regime, including incorporation and regulatory structuring.
- Representation of an investment group in connection with the launch of a voluntary tender offer to acquire a minority stake in a company listed on the Egyptian Exchange.
- Representation of a multinational group in connection with the domiciliation of its holding company from an offshore jurisdiction to another international financial center and advising on regulatory aspects relating to the dual listing of its shares on regional stock exchanges.
- Advising listed and unlisted companies on ongoing corporate governance matters, including incorporations, capital increases, shareholder and board meetings, and regulatory filings.
Prior to her current role, Farah gained experience working in an international law firm on a variety of corporate and commercial matters, with a focus on transactional work across multiple sectors.
She holds an LL.B. from the German University in Cairo and is admitted to practice in Egypt.
