In our chapter titled "Investment Funds: Recent Regulations and Guidelines on Competition in Egypt," our legal team delves into Egypt's recent economic reforms, including new Executive Regulations (ER) under Law No. 175 of 2022, which enhance the Egyptian Competition Authority's (ECA) power to review and approve transactions. These regulations, along with newly issued ECA guidelines, provide clarity on key aspects of the pre-merger control regime.
