Shahid Law Firm successfully acted for a major Swedish holding company in an investment dispute concerning a parcel of land. The disputed area of more than 250,000 square meters – located at the Menoufia Governorate, North of Cairo – comprising the Egyptian affiliate’s manufacturing facility, has been a matter of dispute for more than three years.
Chairman and Founder Counselor Sarwat Abd El-Shahid and Partner Ahmad Mostafa of Shahid Law – advocated before the Ministerial Committee for the Resolution of Investment Disputes* to oblige the Menoufia Governorate to acknowledge the rightful ownership of the land by firm’s client, in addition to causing the Real Estate Authentication Authority to effectuate the procedures of registering same in client’s name.
